Paralyzed by a profound fear of the outside world, thirteen-year-old Janine retreats entirely into her home. But total confinement carries a dark cost. On Day 53, her anxiety manifests physically. Janine must choose: face her deepest terror beyond the front door, or remain completely trapped by her own mind.
