Watch VoirFilms. The first expedition of geographer and geologist Väinö Auer (1895-1981) to the Land of Fire in 1928-29. A cultural anthropological documentary, including the natural disasters that are so commonplace to us: the state of the birdlife (what species have disappeared), overfishing, forest destruction. The Lönnrot Glacier is also visited.
